Melissa Brandao is Founder and CEO of HerdDogg. For the past decade, Melissa has been focused on the development and deployment of technologies for specialty Agriculture. She is the first female ever to found an electric vehicle company. She was recently honored as one of 32 companies invited to participate in the first ever White House Demo Day.
Duppy oversees both hardware and software for HerdDogg. He has spent almost 20 years designing and shipping consumer electronic handhelds He strives to make the future a place where a connected product is not complex but more useful and stable than its older unconnected version. Damon Doelger is an accomplished executive with over 15 years of leadership in technical management, business development, and sales groups. In 2005, Damon managed the founding of SiC Processing’s US production facility from site selection to process startup. Damon, along with a business partner, formed NW Processing after purchasing the assets of SiC Processing US and developed a process to refine glycerin (from biodiesel by-product) to USP quality and pioneered a recycling process for the recovery of garnet from water jet cutting.
Carolyn holds a Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition and Stress Physiology from Texas A&M University, a M.S. from the University of Tennessee and a B.S. from Ohio State University. For 35 years she has operated a diversified family farm. Carolyn is the Executive Secretary at State Agriculture and Rural Leaders where she is writing and reviewing agriculture and rural development policy nation-wide.
Antonio has pioneered sustainable business in Brasil. He worked on sustainable development projects with the United Nations, Ernst & Young and ABN Amro Bank (Banco Real). Antonio isteacher, speaker and published a book on sustainable development and climate change in 2009. As Country Manager for Brazil, Antonio oversees the day to day of HerdDogg do Brasil.
Chuck owns and manages a stocker operation in central Utah that uses cutting edge systems to produce both healthier soils and increased gains on cattle. Throughout his career Chuck has worked extensively with RFID technologies, he was a key contributor to the largest scale Low Frequency trial conducted in Canada. His most recent work was with Ultra High Frequency systems as Director of Marketing & Sales at AniTrace, a division of Hana Micron. That role afforded him the opportunity to work with dozens of ranches, feedlots, and governments to assess the UHF technology.
Craig has over 25 years of engineering and entrepreneurial experience. He career spans, Motorola, National Instruments and 640 Labs which he co-founded in 2012 and was acquired by The Climate Corporation.Craig was raised on a farm in northwest Iowa, he earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Iowa State University in 1988 and master’s degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He currently has 13 patents.
