Field Sales andService Representative
Overview
HerdDogg is a venture-backed AgTech company that builds hardware and software solutions for livestock health and welfare management, and traceability. Our platform helps producers make more money from every animal they raise, and our hardware is proudly designed and manufactured in the United States. We are passionate about increasing producer value in their livestock through analytics of biometric data collected by our smart cattle tags. HerdDogg has focused its development on creating the highest quality, lowest cost biometric devices for cattle and is launching a commercial campaign that will put us on track to be the largest smart tag company within the next 12 months.
HerdDogg is based in Seward, Nebraska, with a production team in Colorado, and employees across the United States. We are growing fast and establishing a presence in the beef and dairy industries across the Midwest and High Plains.
We have an opening for a Field Sales and Service Representative who can create connections that will turn into sales. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable traveling to remote locations and becoming the expert who can train our clients on how to use the technology.

We’re looking for a Field Sales and Service Representative:

Starting salary of $60,000 depending on experience with ability to earn commissions

Service Territory: Eastern Colorado/Western Nebraska

Travel Expenses are covered for required in-person meetings and for client support and service calls

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or 3 years of experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Ability to do overnight travel is required

Passion for technology and technology collaboration.
Responsibilities:

Selling and promoting products to both existing and potential customers.

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients.

Cold calling potential clients.

Coordinating sales efforts with other departments.

Leading marketing efforts within the designated service territory.

Becoming an expert with our system and train clients how to use the platform.
